My wirewoven work (photos)

In a January, I post that I started to learn wireweaving. And it's actually really easy to do though after a few practice pieces. I made four (4) pieces but one was gifted before I could snap a photo of it. Anyway, I promised photos of what I made which I wasn't able to keep until now.

Call for Submissions- Lark Crafts' 500 Beaded Jewellery

Lark Crafts is calling for artists to submit photos of their work for their new collection 500 Beaded Jewellery.

They are strongly asking for original and unpublished work to be entered and be recently made. There is no entry fee. And you can submit up to 4 images. They MUST be great photos not just good photos but great!
Quoted from Ray, I’ll select good work in a great photograph over great work in a poor photograph.

They are not accepting emailed entries so you have to mail photos on a CD or DVD readable by Macintosh computers.

Artists will receive acknowledgment within the book and one complimentary copy also discounts on the purchase of other books. Artists retain copyright of their work. The photo license agreement you complete should include your information and your signature.

Entries must be postmarked by July 15, 2011.

You can read more and download the entry form here Lark Crafts call for submissions.

Another medium I am learning:Wire Weaving and some free tuts too

Yes, I am now wire weaving. I made two rings the night before and tonight another ring; all three of my own design. They are just basic learning to weave sort of rings. I still have to perfect the art but thus far they are okay. They are all copper based with magenta/raspberry coloured craft wire ( the only wire I have thin enough to weave). I am not sure of the gauge since it has no label but the copper wire is 22g. I am hoping to conjure up a design that could be a good seller. And then practice to make prefectly neat! Photos to come soon (probably next week).

Here's a list of tutorials that a friend so kindly helped me find:
